They will be performing at the Ukrainian Festival of Gloucester on 20th April and performing Fi's song "Ukraine" with the Kozachky choir of Ukraine on 27th April in the Church for the big finale to the festival.

They will also be supporting Quo Connection at their gig at The Stables in Milton Keynes on 7th June. Tickets available on the Quo Connection website.

New Single Release

Fi released her new single "Stormy Nights" on 26th January.

The Blue Lena

Fi joined The Blue Lena in 2021,  a new rock band, based around the songwriting partnership of vocalist Peter Yeomans and guitarist Nick Singleton.

Peter and Nick both have a wealth of live/touring experience between them. Peter was the lead singer of High Treason, collaborating with Ben Mathews of UK rockers Thunder. Nick’s previous known bands include The Firebyrds, and The Tattooed Love Boys and 3Sixty, with whom he recorded the #truestories album.

The Darkwood album is made up of heartfelt songs, stories drawn from the pairs' own life experiences, rich in blues rock, classic rock and southern rock influences.

Numerous plays on Planet Rock and an appearance at the Winterstorm Festival in Troon, Scotland and Planet Rockstock gained them a lot of fans. They were also named by Classic Rock as the "band to watch in 2024".

The Blue Lena consists of Martin Raggett (High Treason) on bass, Richie Yeates (Desolation Angels) on second guitar and vocal harmonies, drummer Jon Clayton( Brutal Deluxe), Matt Raynor on keyboards, and singer Fi Channon who has recently toured in support of, and as part of John Coghlan’s Quo live band.

The Blue Lena have just released the new album to rave reviews in Classic Rock, Fireworks & Power Play magazine.

Fi was the support for John Coghlan's Quo in 2022 on his Farewell Tour. She was also part of the acoustic section in the show providing harmonies. John Coghlan has since moved onto a new project and his band have continued under the name of Quo Connection.  They have quickly gained the reputation of being the best at creating that authentic Quo sound with many endorsements by people who were actually involved with the real Status Quo.

Fi loves working with them (and making them tea!) and has done backing vocals for them on recordings and at shows. She will often be found at their gigs.
